Project Background
This project involves the installation of a 15000 BPH OPP labeling machine for a bottled water manufacturer located in Bandung, Indonesia.
The customer operates a medium-to-large scale bottled water production facility and required a high-speed labeling solution compatible with multiple bottle sizes including 330ml, 600ml and 1L PET bottles.
The previous labeling equipment could not meet the increasing production demand. Therefore, the customer decided to upgrade the packaging system with a fully automatic OPP hot melt labeling machine.
After evaluating several solutions, the customer selected our labeling machine due to its stable operation, high labeling accuracy and low label cost.
OPP Labeling Machine Configuration
The labeling system includes the following main components:
Bottle Infeed Conveyor
The bottle conveyor system transports filled bottles from the filling line to the labeling machine and ensures smooth bottle flow.

High Speed OPP Labeling Machine
The OPP labeling machine applies roll film labels to bottles using hot melt glue technology.
This labeling method is widely used in bottled water production due to its high speed and lower label cost compared with self-adhesive labels.

Label Cutting and Glue Application System
The machine automatically cuts the OPP film label and applies hot melt glue to ensure precise label positioning and secure adhesion.
This system ensures:

Production Process
The labeling process works as follows:
1 Filled bottles are transported from the filling line to the labeling machine.
2 Bottles enter the labeling station and are positioned accurately.
3 The OPP label film is cut and coated with hot melt glue.
4 The label is wrapped around the bottle surface and bonded securely.
5 Labeled bottles are transferred to the downstream packing system.
Installation and Commissioning
The installation and commissioning of the labeling machine were completed by our local engineer team in Indonesia.
